Name:   Goku

                          Race:   Saiyan

Goku is the series hero. We first find him as a child in the forest searching for food. He is met by Bulma, a 16 year girl who is searching for the Dragonballs. That is the start of his many adventures. He makes a lot of new freinds some of which he has reverted from evil to good. his best friends are Krillin, Bulma and turtle. On his long jounies,he also meets his future wife, Chi-Chi. when he grows up and he and chi-chi finally Marry, he has a son named Gohan, after his late grandfather. Taking Gohan to meet his childhood friends, he is encountered by his past. Raditz, his Brother!! He soon learns he is a Saiyajin, a race of proud mercenary warriors, who were destroyed along with their planet at the hands of Freeza, an incredibly powerful alien. Only 4 saiyajins survived those being: Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz. He goes on to become a Super Saiyajin and eventually even more powerful than that.

Although at first he and Vegita are enemies, Goku sees hope for the destroyer of earth- and slowly in the Freeza and Androids saga, they become almost friends, Though Vegita is too proud and arrogant to admit it.

Goku and Vegita can later fuse together to create Gogita- Vegitt in the manga version. at the end of the series he is about 45yrs. old and has a second son named Goten

Name:    Gohan

                           Race: half Saiyan half earthling

Gohon is Goku and Chi-Chi's first son. He is definately the apple of Chi-Chi's eye, and she has high hopes of him one day becoming a famous scholar. So she keeps his nose in a book whenever possible, and gets very upset with Goku when he tries to teach him how to fight.

When Goku sacrifices himself by being killed in order to kill Raditz, Piccolo first witnesses how truly powerful this son of the Saiyajin is. Saiyajin blood runs in his veins, and Piccolo takes him to get this power to surface.

At first Gohan is afraid, but he soon finds his power, and befriends the very hard Piccolo, who eventually softens and bonds with the little boy who was the first ever to show him true friendship.

When Goku died and went to train with King Kai, Gohan became the main character in Dragon Ball Z, then again when Goku dissapeared after Destroying Freeza.

In the Cell Saga, he is the first out of Goku, Trunks and Vegita to reach Super Saiyajin-2, the level higher than Super Saiyajin. His true power comes out whenever his friends are being hurt, swelling up his anger. From this point, Gohan becomes more of a focal character than even Goku.

Name: Krillin

Krillin is Goku's best friend, and has been around since the first series. He met Goku as a young child while studying Martial arts under Master Roshi. He is kind of short, has no nose and throughout most of the series, has no hair either. (although he does grow some with the help of a special potion) Krillin trained with Goku under Master Roshi and afterwards shared many adventures with him. Krillin has died more times than anyone else in the series. He is one of the weaker fighters, but this is partially due to his low self-confidence. Nevertheless, he has gotten fairly powerful due to all his fights with the really powerful enemies.

In part of the series he dates a very ditzy boy crazy girl named Maron (Who looked so much like bulma I kept confusing them) But she kept running away to be with other men. She truly did care about him, but I don't think she knew what "love" really was. She was too use to attention from lots of boys.

Krillin eventually did get married. Get this...to Android #18! The Android they were warned by the future Trunks about. It turns out that Trunks coming back to the past altered the flow of things, and the two Androids weren't as destructive and evil as they were in his time. #17 was destroyed by Cell, and #18 was also taken, but he eventually "spit" 18 up when he was destroyed. After that she and Krillin Got together And they had a daughter that they named Maron.

Name: Vegeta*

                           Race:   Saiyan

When Vegita first comes to Planet Earth, its to find the Dragon Balls. He heard that you could wish for anything with them, and his wish would be for immortality and ultimate power. Vegita who is "the Prince of all Saiyajins" meets "Kakarrot" which is Goku's Saiyajin's name. Trying to prove he's the strongest fighter, He kills All of Goku and Gohan's friends while Goku is still trying to make it back to earth from King Kai's. His last victim was Piccolo, when Piccolo sacrificed himself for Gohan.

Vegita was defeated by Goku and Gohan together, and before Gohan could Kill the evil Saiyajin, Goku told gohan to spare him, and sent him back to heal and think.

When We next see Vegita, he is on Namek searching for the Dragon Balls, at the same time Gohan, Krillin and Bulma are. He still wants immortality, they want to wish back their friends. But there is also someone else there. Freeza.

The three warriors, Vegita, Krillin and Gohan team up to fight freeza, but he proves to be too much for them. Goku finally appears to help, but its too late. Vegita dies in his arms with tears in his eyes. He wasn't really evil, he just never had a chance to live any other way.

Eventually all that freeza killed was wished back to life, and Vegita was among the living again. he was still bent on proving he was stronger than "Kakorrot", and achieving the level of Super Saiyajin as Goku did, and become the strongest Saiyajin once again. When word of androids came from a mysterious boy from the future named Trunks, Vegita joins Goku and his friends to fight and defend earth.

Although his is to proud and arrogant to admit it, Vegita is slowly beginning to like his new friends, even Kakorrot who he claimed to hate. In fact, it was just the oposite. He respected, and even liked Goku.

Eventually after a fight with Yamucha, Bulma turns to Vegita and they get together and have a son...who turns out to be the boy Trunks who came back from the future to warn them about the androids. And slowly we see Vegita's softer side show through. Just a little. We see that he really does care about his friends, Bulma and his son. Later he and Bulma will have a daughter- Bra.
